I ordered these blocks for my 7-month-old daughter, and they are beautiful! My husband and I really had to search to figure out what the "imperfections" were. Most of them (we're guessing) are just slightly darker grain lines or small dark spots. Certainly nothing that hinders their usability. The picture with the blocks lined up shows my guess as to the imperfections on each one.

The size of the blocks is also perfect for my daughter to hold in her hand. She is still in the munch-on-anything phase, so she loves to chew on the corners and edges. She also loves to knock over whatever tower her daddy tries to build.

I think these blocks are an amazing value, and I highly recommend them.

I found this company just a few weeks ago because my husband and I were looking for wood blocks for our baby. He loves to chew on Jenga blocks so we wanted to get him some better ones. The perfect blocks were a bit out of the price range we were hoping for so we went with these "imperfect" ones instead. Figured out baby wouldn't care. We received them a few days ago and wow!! They are gorgeous! And the "imperfections" are tiny or basically non-existent. The blocks are all smooth and safe for our 10 month old. They aren't big blocks but a great size for little hands. We ordered 2 dozen and we were lucky to get some of each wood. We think the walnut is just beautiful. The shipping price was very reasonable. We will definitely be ordering from this company again!! Exactly what I had hoped for!

These are nice wood blocks with a great price. We have some that are similar that are heavier in your hand, but they also cost a ton more so we're very pleased with these as an alternative this year when we're trying to fill out our blocks basket for playtime!
