When creating my sons' nursery, I knew that I wanted the room to epitomize three things: curiosity, tranquility, and joy. So, I thought to myself, what is the ONE thing I want to utilize through his childhood that can produce such feelings? The answer: books.

Our daughter has shown a huge interest in art this past year. For Christmas, we decided to gift her a creative space of her own to paint, draw, craft...whatever her little heart desires! Complete with some Smiling Tree goodness!

Januarys in Minnesota can get long, so it's important for us to keep busy indoors if it's too cold to get outside and play. My daughter has a thing for the arts. She loves coloring, crafting, and especially painting! So yesterday, after addressing all her valentines, we decided to do a little art project to decorate for the holiday: watercolor bunting!
